Songs From The Wild podcast artwork

Songs From The Wild is a podcast about the places, inner and outer, that shape who we become.

Rooted in the quiet rhythms of our valley here in Portugal, the series explores creativity, Nature, and the deeper questions that sit beneath a meaningful life. Each episode is a conversation — sometimes with my own songs, other artists, writers, musicians, and thinkers, and sometimes with the landscape itself — about how we stay connected to what is real, honest, and alive in us.

Illustrated by the brilliant Gillian Eilidh O’Mara, the podcast moves between storytelling, reflection, and dialogue, weaving together personal experience with wider cultural and ecological themes. It looks at how art is made, how ideas take root, how we navigate uncertainty, and how the natural world can act as both mirror and guide.

Launching in 2026, Songs From The Wild is an ongoing exploration of creativity as a way of living — a practice of attention, presence, and imagination. It’s for anyone who feels drawn to the quiet edges of things: to stories that unfold slowly, to conversations that go beneath the surface, and to the mysterious, often overlooked moments that make a life feel whole.
